PLM Canton Supports Ronald McDonald House Charities One Energy Drink at a Time!

The PLM Canton office has been using their office’s love of energy drinks for a good cause. They have been collecting “pop tabs” since May of last year for their favorite local business, Peace Love and Little Donuts of Canal Fulton and their friend Micah, a first grader at Northwest Primary school.

The tabs collected by PLLD & Micah will be dropped off to the Ronald McDonald House Charity chapter in Cleveland. These tabs are then recycled by the charity and all of the money accumulated goes directly to the RMHC. According the RMHC website, “collecting pop tabs is a great way to teach kids about philanthropy and the importance of recycling while raising funds to help children and their families at the same time. Some of our Chapters raise thousands of dollars with their pop tab collections – up to $30,000.”

Ronald McDonald House is a charity that provides resources for sick children and their families who have extended stays at hospitals during medical crisis. A few of the many resources they provide are actual homes for the children and their families to stay in at little to no cost to the families while they’re receiving their medical care, mobile care facilities providing pediatric health care to children in isolated areas, and Global Grant Programs to provide funding to nonprofit programs around the world.

We’ve been happy to do our small part the Purple way to support a great charity in a very simple way, and also to help Peace Love and Little Donuts help first grader Micah make a difference in his community.
